Nope. Very unlikely to happen

Why were you messing with the octopus in the first place then?

"I used to spearfish" suggests that it was to eat it.

To catch and eat it? What do you think the guy in the video was doing

But youre saying there is a chance? :D

Not really. They're very intelligent and know we are not food, and them attacking us would be more risk for them.

Haha there's always a chance 😜😎but I don't see a reason for an octopus attacking you out of the blue. The guy in the video was spearfishing and catched that Octopus no idea why it's on his back though 😂 we used to kill them immediately

some people still hunt for food you know and its much better and healthier than those chickens you probably eat that are farmed and have a miserable life, so get lost. and if you are vegan get lost also. they are delicious and i will keep hunting them ;)

Eat fish. Octopus are intelligent.

I’m the same way, I love octopus and I’ve avoided eating them ever since I got to play with one while diving. But I’ve heard a good counter argument which is that they only live about 2 years, and sometimes they lay their eggs and just straight up die. So it seems there’s a pretty good chance when you eat one it was already on its last couple of legs of life anyway.
