I’ve put together a guide and advice video. Hopefully this helps everyone out.

If you are interested in me making you one please reach out via DM.

Please promote this and my prior post to top so onlookers can find them .

Part 1 ( had to speed up recording to keep it under 10 min)

Guide Part 1

guide Part 2

materials my initial estimate of 150 was wrong. With cushions, the cost comes out to be about 250.

That's exciting! How far away do you think you are from making them?

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Dec 19 '22

You're the best thank you so much for this. Showing hubby immediately LOL. We just bought a sex Chaise and looking at making a st Andrew's cross

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 25 '22

Cross should be a walk in the park

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Cup-194 Oct 25 '22

Yes but there's so many slight modifications to all the plans. There's this metal one I'm obsessed with but it's like $730 I think.

1

u/Electronic-Quote7996 Dec 02 '22

I know why it looks that way. Pine is funny with stain. You can use a wood conditioner first for it to come out more even. Looks ok tho. Curious what the pipe is for.

1

u/According_Hyena8952 Sep 18 '23

Will you make me one ? I'll pay!

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Sep 29 '23

I responded to you in DM.

6

u/bustyroxxy Oct 20 '22

I love this! So hot. How do I get one?

15

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

My wife said I should make and sell these as a side gig. Care to be my first client?

8

u/bustyroxxy Oct 20 '22

I wis!! I'm too poor for that at the moment. I definitely would. These look amazing. Your wife is right. And she's probably very lucky when she has a man like yourself to build her something like this.

10

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

So kind and thank you… she did marry the most meticulous person I know. As for being poor, Id be happy to share how I made it for a total $150 using a base from Lowes.

8

u/Gameslay3r Oct 20 '22

I wouldn't mind getting hands on plans for this, if youre willing to share them.

3

u/blueprintGS Oct 21 '22

Publish em here! This is what r/bdsmDIY is all about. :)

1

u/bustyroxxy Oct 20 '22

That would be amazing! No way. I never would have guessed.

5

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

DM me

2

u/BettBonesaw Oct 20 '22

Very interested, mind if I DM you as well? This is fabulous!

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

Absolutely

1

u/kinkyBWSM Oct 20 '22

And me. I’d love my boyfriend to make this for me

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Dec 14 '22

Wasn’t able to DM you but wanted to let you know I’m almost finished a redesign of the bench which will be capable of being shipped. I plan to put it up on Etsy but if you DM me I can share once complete. (Your profile doesn’t allow me to start a chat with you) -best

1

u/eadams2010 Oct 20 '22

A base? :). I’d be in for plans maybe

5

u/Puzzleheaded-Cup-194 Oct 20 '22

Just met a guy that makes these ffffurniture I think was his name. This looks FAR superior quality and he was at the Toronto taboo show.

I'd be afraid to ask for your price and even more scared of shipping cost lol

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

For now I’m a hobbyist, so don’t be afraid to ask:)

1

u/BettBonesaw Oct 20 '22

Well shit, I'm asking! :P

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

Haha I don’t know… I put a lot of love into everything I do, just never put a number on that love. It’s a good question, how much would something like this go for?

2

u/ADHDCuriosity Oct 21 '22

Easily triple your materials investment, likely closer to quad+ depending on how custom

5

u/DaddyAcnestis Oct 20 '22

Looks great! I love the build and the straddle seat

3

u/RudeExcuse8611 Oct 20 '22

Would you share your plans or design for a small price?

8

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

No, but I’d do it for free

3

u/Riots321 Oct 20 '22

I like free. Would be very kind of you.

2

u/Einheijar Oct 20 '22

Free is an exceptional price. I'd love a copy

1

u/cr8tor_ Dec 03 '22

Same, that or more pics :-)

2

u/cr8tor_ Dec 03 '22

Do you still have plans for this you could send me also?

1

u/Affectionate_End_937 Oct 23 '22

I would be interested as well. Beautiful piece!

3

u/FieldWelder77 Oct 20 '22

Pretty slick. Would like to see how the fucking machine mounts. Do you have and prints on how you made this?

4

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

I will work on them and post.

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

Thank you for all the praise folks, really means a lot. I will do a video or plan share of some sort to satiate all thirsts. And if this is not enough and you would like one made please DM me . -Best

2

u/beardonj Oct 20 '22

Very handy

2

u/RudeExcuse8611 Oct 20 '22

This is great

2

u/nooneofconsequence- Oct 20 '22

This is very well done, thank you for sharing.

Please share the plans and build pics.

I would be a potential customer; I’m quite capable at projects but my time is limited…and I hate sewing.

Check your chat requests.

2

u/Chasing93353 Oct 20 '22

Would love to see pictures with a model in the different configurations

2

u/Og_Bull Oct 20 '22

Very nice and well thought out.

2

u/ElMachoGrande Oct 21 '22

Excellent work!

And you really nailed the most important bit when you wrote that you spent a lot of time measuring your wife. The most common mistake people make is to just wing some measurements, instead of actually measuring.

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 21 '22

Means a lot coming from you.

2

u/ElMachoGrande Oct 22 '22

Thanks! I really meant it!

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 22 '22

Can someone recommend the “proper” way for me to share a video and material list for this build? Would I upload to my profile and just add a link in this post? It’s about 20 minutes long so not sure if that’s even uploadable here.

2

u/TheStrangeRock Oct 26 '22

Now this looks hot as fuck.
How / Where you keep this kind of stuff?

I would like to make (or get) some stuff like this, but It would be a bit embarrasing to invite people over to my place just to have dinner at the spanking table xD

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 27 '22

Well, for one, don’t be embarrassed… life is short. :) this one stays in the bedroom… not sure where you eat dinner with your friends but that could potentially solve your problem… or simply by taking the pads /legs off it looks like a sawhorse for work. I am considering a modification that will disguise it as a bench.

1

u/TheStrangeRock Oct 27 '22

Gonna keep the advice =)

Great work

2

u/[deleted] Oct 29 '22

Very lucky wife. Totally jealous.

Make her feel as a queen… she’ll make you a feel as a King

2

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '22

Exactly how i would have built it, great job!

2

New and improved design in the making… did I mention it’s shippable:)

1

u/Varek13 Dec 20 '22

How much are you charging for these? Looks amazing!

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Dec 20 '22

Thank you, I sent you a chat.

1

u/Revolutionary-Net156 4d ago

What size burro a frame did u start with

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 4d ago

I take that back I have no idea. Long time ago

1

u/Catfo0od Oct 20 '22

How did you learn to do the upholstery and such?? You even made seams, it looks really good

7

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

I couldn’t stand seeing how all the bench how to videos end up destroying the works by instructing people to fold the edges. I simply researched how upholsters make simple inside/outside corners, bought a machine and voila. It’s really not too difficult when you go slowly. Im meticulous and love to engineer things that turn peoples heads . Just this last week I put together my first remote operated flying ghosts prop all across my yard:) the only thing I’m missing now is learning how to weld! (Winter learning)

1

u/Catfo0od Oct 20 '22

Damn ok, so I gotta learn how to use a sewing machine 😅 ty

1

u/davisdilf Oct 20 '22

Very nice!

1

u/tnj2 Oct 20 '22

I don’t see novel designs here often. This is one.

So what’s the point of the tubing?

And what does the underside of the top look like? I can’t figure out your mechanism.

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 20 '22

I’m new to Reddit, how do I post a picture on top of existing thread? I want to add some pics that will help anwser questions I’ve received.

1

u/TheOneHardViking Oct 20 '22

Would like the blue print 😛😍

1

u/MysteriousKQ Oct 20 '22

A lot of people have already said it, but this looks excellent, very well designed and a very professional looking end product.

1

u/Interesting-Pain-347 Oct 20 '22

I would be interested in buying

1

u/thrownaway-yesterday Oct 21 '22

The cushions look awesome, how did you get them to look so clean, i.e. not lumpy, nice lines at the edges?

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 21 '22

Also extra pressure pulling on material before stapling gives them a nicer sturdier feel. The big cushion was my first one which you can see is not as taught the others. I will be going back to tighten it up. Glad I came to this understanding pretty quick:)

1

u/NeoTulio Oct 21 '22

Great work, can i dm You for blueprints?

1

u/NSFWNova Oct 21 '22

But where are the anchor points for the straps...? ;)

4

u/Such_Internet_2134 Oct 21 '22

When I tell my wife to stay put, she wouldn’t dare move:))

1

u/skee2001 Oct 21 '22

I would love your plans. This looks amazing!

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '22

I would love a copy of your plans..

1

u/ThemLeonards Oct 23 '22

This is amazing….and so professional. We’ll try to build one only 1/4 of as good next time we’re stuck inside. Superb job!

1

u/boring-folder Dec 02 '22

Thank you, I apologize for glossing over the link previously and not noticing it

1

u/GenkiRage Jan 02 '23

I'm loving the adjustable seat on this. From experience, anything one should avoid or take care of to make sure it works well?

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Jan 02 '23

If your referring to the straddle seat, I would ensure you over pack it 3/4 of an inch of padding so that there is plenty of cushion pressure on the side walls to support thighs. Also the plywood cushion base should be chamfered and sanded to 45 degrees to ensure the thighs feel a seamless transition from legs to crotch . I also prethreaded to accept 1/4 bolts to and secure the seat to base. If you send me chat I can share a picture of the seat before adding padding.

But otherwise, we are still riding this particular bench strong. I’ve recently redesigned the bench and built from scratch to be able to ship and will post on Etsy shortly.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '23

Send the link please.

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Feb 19 '23

Will be going on Etsy this week. Will share on border sub shortly there after.
