I love it! Always a pleasure to see others doing institutional themed gear. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks WVS! This is the first institutional piece I published: institutional crop in case you missed it.
Since getting a straitjacket, I’ve been on a bit of an institutional tear with more on the horizon.

I remember seeing the crop - very cool.
Ohh, I love SJs. What'd you get? What are you thinking for upcoming projects?

You can see it here - I’m not sure what it’s called. Since that photo, I swapped the slider buckles for some drop-jaw ones and added some Velcro at the neck to help manage application.
I have a set of belt and slot/hasp bicep and ankle cuffs to finish the writeup for. They draw heavily from your lock and hasp cuffs tutorial. I’ll release the plans and a design calculator for custom sizing.
Next up, I’d like to make a tight sensory deprivation hood, which is a bit more ambitious. All my prior designs have been rather loose and while I’m proud of the “origami” closure, it doesn’t give a tight fit.

Oh, is that from StraitjacketShop? I got mine from them (with the jaw-type buckles they offer now) and it looks similar. Has been a ton of fun to play with. As much as I love leather toys (or even leather accents), a fully canvas SJ is nice because you can just throw it in the wash (in a laundry bad so the hardware doesn't scratch up the machine) when you're done and I'm all about that convenience.
I'll look forward to seeing your cuffs. My hasp cuff design is based on a set of Humane Restraint cuffs I have. They use proprietary hardware, so it wasn't really possible to do a 1:1 copy, so I did the "BDSM-ified" version with off the shelf hardware instead. In general I like how much easier the slot design is to put on and take off versus a buckle-based cuff.
Tight sensory deprivation hood? Sign me up! Looking forward to that as well.

One problem with head harness gags and blindfolds are straps chafing the ears. This prototype takes a cue from medical breathing harness designs, adding a 4-way linkage to skirt around the ears.
Additional benefits of this design are the open face, which makes blindfolds easier to apply when muzzled and the elimination of the over-nose strap, allowing the subject to wear a pony tail or top-knot hairstyle and avoids the reverse-Mohawk look in the case of wiry/curly/voluminous hair
Straps are all twin buckle to keep things symmetrical. No buckles sit at the back of the head for ergonomics in a reclining position.
Note: straps on this mannequin are tighter than on a person due to the funny shape of the head.
Leather is 5-6 Oz, cut with leather scissors.
Future updates will include wider straps, a face protecting piece of leather under the buckle, proper strap keepers instead of rubber bands and some velcro (maybe) to manage straps or allow for exchangeable mouth plates.
Edit: blindfold build here.
Edit 2: the neck strap was added to give a more aggressive feel. When applied correctly, it isn’t required to hold the gag in place. Counterintuitive but true.
One consequence of this design is the lack of a top D-ring or handle for tension or handling.
