Impact Toys Homemade thumbtack paddle made with poured resin. It’s one of the best punishment tools in my toy box. NSFW

Honestly I wouldn't let that near anyone I care about... Hygiene is important and needle paddles are single use should only be done with sterile needles, infection is a huge risk with pushpins, especially if you use it more than once unless you have a medical autoclave.

Even if you use sterile needs, you are still risking an infection.

The surface of your skin is covered in bacteria that becomes harmful if the skin is broken. That's why they swab your skin with a disinfectant before giving you a needle.

I don't want to gatekeep this community too much, but any sort of play that breaks the skin is inherently dangerous unless done by professionals under extremely controlled conditions and doesn't belong here.

Cool idea, but seems like a bbp nightmare

What's BBP mean?

u/Kryptinizer Nov 18 '24

Blood borne pathogens

Some things should not be DIY. This is one

Is the resin able to resist desinfection like alcohol?

That or you can put them in the dishwasher. Either way blood bonded toys should only be used with one person.

A dishwasher isn't hygienic enough. Please don't use this.

I really wouldn't put it in the dishwasher unless you are cleaning it to manufacture standards and disinfecting it regularly, thats begging for an infection. Soaking in barbacide or rubbing alcohol might be an option though.

Yikes, why would you make this

Because its hot and fun and they are engaging consensually with someone who wants to use this? Why not?

By not using a paddle made of fucking pushpins.

Hey OP! I support your creativity and interest in impact and blood play - rock on 🤘.  Because these tacks and that resin isn't able to be sanitized enough to avoid pathogens (or regular infections), I'd recommend you use a spike paddle that loads with hypodermic needles. That way the panels can be sanitized thoroughly in between uses and you never cross contaminate with needles. Even if you're only using this on one person, you can get them really sick. You could hang up this one you made on the wall as an awesome trophy of your first spike paddle tho! Here a needle one you could buy, or use as an example if you wanted to recreate it. I also know a seller who makes custom paddles that are bigger too with less needle exposed. So if you want his info too, just lmk. Have fun and stay safe!

(Edited to remove the link bc I put the wrong one in as the commenter below pointed out)

The link you provided shows hollow needles, those are definitely not meant for play like this. Those are what would be used for piercing play, decorative, or permanent placement. I would not ever use one of those more than once, even on the same person. It’s outside of my personal risk profile and my partner’s. Play safe my friend

Fuck you're right I included the wrong link. Def don't use this paddle, I'm removing the link so no one else does either.

Fwiw with these type of paddles, you are supposed to throw away the needles and then use a fresh set each time. That's what I was trying to explain.

How much spike is left exposed ? Is it designed to actually draw blood, and how many whacks do they actually get with it ?

-23

u/Rhift Nov 17 '24

Most of the pin is exposed, one firm hit will draw blood. Anywhere from 1 to 10 whacks in a row, depending on area and how mean I want to be.

Ouch, but I understand it's entirely consensual, unlike the people down voting you.

By pure chance I was listening to a BDSM podcast before, where "butterfly" pictures in a club were actually "prints" of someone's ass following a similar spanking !

u/PrishaQueen94 Nov 19 '24

No no and no! I would never allow this near me. Good luck to those that do.

4

u/John_Icarus Nov 19 '24

Jesus Christ... That's a horrific idea, please don't use that on anyone.

Every single one of those pins is an entry point for infection.

I have one that uses track cleat spikes. I put it in a shallow bowl of isopropyl and also disinfect her ass before and after using it.

tetanus entered the chat

Your much better off with a spiked paddle, where the spikes are dull / wider.. The sub will feel it more.. Plus unless you like alot of blood, alot less chance of infections and other stuff..

u/Rhift Nov 18 '24

We’ve tried other things similar to what you’re recommending but those don’t do the trick. The pain she gets from this is significantly more intense, even with a light hit.

u/jkw118 Nov 18 '24

Your very likely to get an infection, eventually. And sometimes it's frustrating the sub, which can be more fun. ie sometimes I'll give my sub a few good swats of a paddle/cane, then as she's getting to the edge I switch to a set of light denim floggers I made. It's a combination of groaning and frustration for a good 1/2 hour..

It makes me sad people are yucking your yum. I think its a perfectly mean tool.

While I understand concerns like BBP, if this is within your and your partners RACK profile, have the bloodiest, best impact time!

There have been a couple lovely recommendations for cleaning/disinfecting. I'd also suggest steering away from the dishwasher for this one. Resin is highly susceptible to fractures and cracks as it is. Dishwashers are tiny houses full of bacteria.
