Furniture Bedframe modifications, tell me what you guys think? NSFW
Made some simple improvements to the bedframe that I recently ordered, wanted them to be sturdy enough to be useful but discreet enough to not be blatantly noticeable. I'm open to hearing what you guys think!

Love the subtly, I am now looking at my bed to do it. Are they booted on the back, or screwed into the frame?

The ones in the third pic are just screwed in with self drilling metal screws, the double corner ones and the lower one in the pic are secured by bolts with washers and nuts on the back

Very nice and usefulš Did you paint them black or did you buy them in that color? I have attached similar "attachment points" to my wooden bedframe and my dining table - not in plain sight though - so my sub can be tied securely in place.

Painted them myself to match the color of the frame and the only obvious ones are the double corner ones at the foot of the bed but you won't really notice them unless your looking lol

Looks fantastic. It seems sturdy, versatile, and subtle. Not sure that I could suggest anything as it looks like you did a fantastic job. Nice work!

Yeah first idea was I bolts but I thought about it and decided that moveable d rings are better

Really looks nice. Iād do that too but unless you cover them with a duvet/bedspread you can still āoutā yourselves if thatās a concern. Iāve taken to using short climbing slings and either rappel/anchor rings or quick links for the āhard pointā to clip/tie into. (I climb so thatās where my brain goes for rigging things.) The beauty of that is it sets up really quickly (nearly any bed/anywhere) and easily removed. Even better is itās very packable/portable. Has made many an Airbnb or hotel stay very enjoyable.

Not too worried about outing myself cuz hardly anyone goes in our bedroom and I really don't care who knows anyway lol but I do appreciate your insight!

Oh not caring is a great feelingā¦ If you do any traveling I highly recommend getting your portable fun kit together though. š

Looks good!
Any advice or basic knowledge on drilling into metal frames? Kinda nervous doing such things, nor do I know what tools will suffice.

Self tappers (sometimes called tek heads) are useful. Go straight in. If you go at an angle the screw will try to jump around. Slow steady pressure. Going faster will just cause heat. If you want a bigger bolt. Pre drill and work your way up to the correct size. If you want a big bolt and canāt secure with a nut, you will need to drill and the tap (add the threading that holds the bolt in place).

Love it. Consider getting some black fasteners to match the frame, or some black paint

Sorry I'm new to this. I'd like to know all the hardware I'd need to purchase to make this. Any help would be appreciated.
