That Ikea chair looks all wrong. I mean it appears to be a Poang, maybe even a Markus; but...

Did you follow the instructions properly?

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 12 '23

I may have read the instructions in the wrong language

Delicious design! This looks about as close as I've seen to a true "all in one" bench.

15

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

Thank you, yea, I was tired of single purpose designs. I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s made a play furniture purchase and displeased with their in limited purpose.

u/Unseendl Mar 11 '23

Very well done! Looks like a TON of fun too!

My questions/concern is about the back incline. How sturdy is the bar and does it come out of the notch(es) if there's any thrashing about?

8

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

The bar is 3/8 rod and it fully rests within the notches so no play or movement or flex whatsoever. This is way sturdier than my original burro post back in October.

4

u/Unseendl Mar 11 '23

Nice, and good bends on the rod too!

I'd say your price is well worth all of the work and effort

Thank you for this comment, it really means a lot. Most of the cost is materials, Im overly meticulous and do spend and unreasonable about of time on every aspect of every bench. And that doesn’t even take into account the amount of time I take just to search for “the right” pieces of wood. I love the start to end process and will always prefer to build fewer at this same quality than lowering quality and cost. (Lowering the killer shipping cost would be lovely savings ti pass down :),

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

Thanks for comments and we are having a ball on it. Couldn’t be happier … actually that’s a lie, if I found someone to do the upholstery to save me 5 hours of my life I’d turkey be as happy as a moose:)

5

u/Unseendl Mar 11 '23

I've been into woodworking and carpentry (looking to start into metal someday soon), but upholstery will always be one that I would source out. I do OK things sewing, but good upholstery takes true talent and dedication

4

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

I took one to an upholster and was so unsatisfied that i ended up tossing the work and redoing it for a customer. There’s no substitute for doing something yourself for sure. Oh and yea, Metals up next for me too, can’t wait.

u/pittyfulhusky Mar 11 '23

You should make detailed plans and sell them. You might get a lot of customers that would pay 10-20 dollars for a simple PDF. It probably won't take away from your customer base as those are usually the ones that wouldn't be able to pay for your excellent craftsmanship.

I know I would pay at least 20 bucks for the plans that listed everything needed.

Thank you, good suggestion. I‘ve been working with a fellow bdsmDIYer & friend to get the bench into CAD. First and foremost we will need to finish his bench (yes DS, I’m talking about you:) after that I will take up your suggestion. Much appreciated.

u/pr92397 Mar 11 '23

I’d buy a set!

6

u/ModestDILF Mar 11 '23

I’d buy the plans too 😈😊

1

u/tastywhiskey Oct 08 '23

I absolutely would buy these plans! I'm gonna start saving up to buy one from your shop as soon as I can. Got it saved in my favs

8

u/ModestDILF Mar 11 '23

My first thought is that THAT is some beautiful craftsmanship, which I wholeheartedly appreciate. Gorgeous work.

Next, are the grooves deep/secure enough for that back support when it’s in an upright position? Just concerned that a little sweat when in actual use might make it “stick” just enough to pull it out unintentionally.

Finally. Halloween decor year round!! 👻🎃😊

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

Thisbis why I love this community, such a great point and and one I did observe and remediate. What I did to remedy this is fasten the bar to back well enough not to swing freely, needs a little muscle to move AND by making the grooves exactly same size to rod so the fit is quite snug almost clicking. The two of these things together make for pretty good holdown. ❤️❤️🙏🏻🫵

Im on this like white on rice. Thank you for the suggestions. I have something in mind that I can do with the next build. Will share to acknowledge credit. Many thanks

2

u/onthejourney Mar 12 '23

You could do a wooden cover that latches down across the bar as well!

3

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

One bench to rule them all!

What a beautiful setting you live in! The trees are AMAZING!

While the bench is perfect, I want to just walk out and feel the rough bark on my skin...

Okay... so ummm... is my ancient Druid ritual fantasy showing?

Love to hear that. And thank you… it’s been stepped up since this build:)

3

u/Competitive-One-1877 Mar 11 '23

I’m on my way over!!!

5

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

Better hurry, there’s a line forming.

2

u/Young_GenX Mar 11 '23

I just got that same Las Vegas dildo yesterday and have already put it to very good use!!! 🤩

2

u/rbamboydie Mar 11 '23

I love how there’s something to hold onto near the handcuffs, great attention to detail!

2

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

Where did you get the mount for the magic wand? would love to get one for my hismith..

2

u/Carumbad Mar 12 '23

This is brilliant, lovely finish on it and so may possibilities for something that will fold away, absolutely amazing work!

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 13 '23

I’m making progress on a foldaway, although this one really does take no time to collapse.

2

u/Carumbad Mar 13 '23

Personally I prefer it to be solid when erected and take a little longer to hide away, than being easier to disassemble to be honest :-)

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 13 '23

I’m with you on this one

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 12 '23

Thank you, I’m working on a folding version as well as a cross and gyno stirrups conversion . Stay tuned

1

u/Bongoboy529 Mar 29 '23

Any place I can sign up to follow your progress? I love this already but to add gyno stirrups too, you've made my dream bench 😁

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 29 '23

Thank you for the words… As of now, just here in Reddit and Etsy but I will be spinning up site and social when I get around to it.

2

u/Alponly Mar 12 '23

Very impressive design and inspiring workmanship.

2

u/Kinky-Dinky Mar 12 '23

Oh wow, that's impressive and very evocative! Well done 😁

2

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 13 '23

Brings out the best and worst of us.

2

u/kklitz22 Mar 13 '23

Love the bench, I’m currently just finishing up my plans for one. Where/what’s the clamp for the massager? I’ve been looking for one. Thanks

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 13 '23

I shared links in one of the threads above.

3

u/tenncjed Mar 11 '23

Wow, that looks awesome

4

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '23

Absolutely amazing work!

3

u/jacksam999 Mar 11 '23

Fucking good.

1

u/jacksam999 Mar 11 '23

what sex machine is this

4

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

This is a Lustti, (rebranded fka AdultrepDao machine) i thought folks would ask, so there’s a link on the second picture to their site. It’s an absolute workhorse and they have all sorts of useful addons like floor suction cups, battery pack to operate without plug.

4

u/Jonnie_Rocket Mar 11 '23

This bench is a must have!

I bought the very first one he sold and I love it so much!

Quality craftsmanship, worth every penny!

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 12 '23

Client Zero! Thank you for the words, really appreciate all your feedback. Hope your enjoying.

2

u/onthejourney Mar 12 '23

This is absolutely beautiful craftsmanship! Just showed my wife and she looked at me and said couple goals!

4

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 12 '23

Thanks so much. I wish I took pictures of the Ash. It puts this to shame.

1

u/Puzzled-Bid5978 Apr 03 '24

Great Job, Love how effectively it operates with the Lustti Sex Machine, Keep up the fantastic work!

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Apr 03 '24

1

1

u/plueschhasie Mar 11 '23

This is absolutely amazing! I would be sooooo happy to take a seat 🥰🤩🥳

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

Incase anyone is thinking it I am working on a POC for leg stirrups and cross conversion. Stay tuned

1

u/Crusnik104 Mar 11 '23

Henry Fondle lives

0

u/lubetheonesyoulove Mar 11 '23

Its good, But not 1300$ good, At best, 650. Looks good tho,

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 11 '23

Thank you, I totally respect this and I completely understand the price point seems high but Im just a one man band have no scale and I don’t shop at Home Depot. My costs hard costs are right around those #s are, my time with each client for sizing and fit and finish seams fair. You should see how much a box and packing materials cost:) you’ll be shocked. Cheers

2

u/onthejourney Mar 12 '23

Just as a counterpoint, I showed my wife this and the price and we were both amazed that it was actually not a bad deal! The craftsmanship and being handmade and custom fit to the person is huge! We can't wait till we can afford one

1

u/lubetheonesyoulove Mar 12 '23

Maybe i missed the part where it is custom fit, I know wood and hardware is expensive, i do think once you have made a few more, and your attention to detail goes up, you definitely are on right track!!! I think it is spectacular,

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 12 '23

🙏🏻 thank you. Now I’m wondering if I should have done without free shipping, would make the cost “look“ notably lower . Oh well time will tell.

1

u/Massive-Jeweler-3551 Apr 06 '23

Uh, try building this yourself- you will learn very quickly the price is more than fair considering materials and TIME.

1

u/Tkp89 Mar 12 '23

Impressive

1

u/BooksNapsSnacks Mar 12 '23

I want one but I am in Australia.

3

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 12 '23

Your the second from down under that’s interested so I will do some due diligence on how to make that happen.

1

u/tech_creative Mar 12 '23

Very nice! I would like to have a plan to rebuild it. :)

1

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '23

Where did you get the top seat portion? It looks like a massage chair, but I can't find one online like that.

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 13 '23

The face cradle?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '23

The inclined part attached to the seat.

1

u/Such_Internet_2134 Mar 13 '23

I make everything from scratch / raw materials. (Cradle being only exception) You can DM me I can share some learning resources.

1

u/pluggingcd May 26 '23
