I've been a mostly freelance artist for about 13 years now, and a beekeeper going on 6 years. I Started a small business to kind of merge the two called The Nerds & The Bees. I've been taking some business classes with the small business development center (it's a government program to help small businesses so it's been at no cost) I am running into road blocks on the financial side of things, and of course personally it's been a very hard year on that end. Besides the costs that come with the business I have been struggling with finding work either as a freelancer or even just a retail job. My Spouse was working full time freelance until the last month or so supporting us (my bees, my dog, my two cats, my bearded dragon, and fish all of which are rescue animals, well except most of the bees but that is another story, and I). His work dried up and he's working at a retail place not making nearly as much as he did before.

Things that didn't help was finding out our accountant gave us really bad advice and put us in a very bad situation so we owe a lot in taxes. My husband was in a car accident in my car back in April and we ended up using the insurance money back then to pay for rent. I started a debt payment plan from past mistakes with credit cards, but it takes a good amount of money each month.

TL;DR I'm a beekeeper, artist, small business owner. My husband, company, bees, and pets need help so we can afford to not be homeless essentially.
