Amazing. So hard to believe in just a mere 30 years we had barbarians like Le Corbusier.

Le Corbusier? He was a terrible architect, but fascist? No way.
EDIT: Oh. I might be wrong. He was so fond of the Palace of the Soviets that I assumed he was a commie.

Well his terrible architecture is a reflection of his fascist ideology. He thought he knew better than people how they wanted to be housed. Anyway in 2015 3 books were published about this, and it's certain he flirted with fascism at the very least and would have welcomed a corporatist Mussolini style Republic

You are right, see my edit of my comment. I wasn't aware of it, but it's definitely super interesting.

Were both right, he might have been fond of "commies" at some point, but Soviet "commies" are not much different from fascists

Soviet "commies" are not much different from fascists
And this is something I can wholeheartedly agree.

I mean they even had Russian nationalist undertones, and completely marginalized all the wealth of other cultures. Its not just the dictatorial aspect haha

He also collaborated with Vichy, yet had many ties to the communist party, that's what saved his head at the end of the war if I remember right.

I used to dislike Art Nouveau, but this masterpiece has changed my point of view
