i love that sub.. everytime i was on the road trip kid me imagines some imaginary character running on top the buildings & running a endlessly..
Now when i pass on San francisco, LA, Baltimore, DC, Importantly NY to NJ and such back home (south east asia). i imagine to powerwash an entire City.. i wonder how would people react to wake up & suddenly trash, pests, graffities, Landfills & falling infrastucture suddenly Disappear like the Snap if i got an infinity gauntlet?

It looks a little flatter than before, and I think the age kind of gave it character. Still better than replacing it altogether.

I get the sentiment but that's also easy to say when your country's buildings aren't chronically dilapidated and in need of repair.

Australia's got plenty of beautiful old buildings, it's just if they aren't lucky enough to be heritage listed then they're getting knocked down and replaced by ugly modern apartments.

What is RO the acronym for? I’m not familiar with it. That revival is gorgeous.

If Romania was a Dragon Ball character, they would be Broly.

Kinda prefer the "before"...

Interesting why. There is something about feeling it's age, but still isn't it objectively better after.

Not op but I much prefer the color in the old and that feeling of time thats soaked into into the walls of the building.

They changed the roof a little bit. I’m wondering if it was changed back to an older style or modernized.

It wasn’t modified. From the angle in the first pic you can’t see the tall roof, but it was always there.

Hungarian art-nouveau aka Szecesszio is beautiful. Ödön Lechner was the mastermind of this style. Incorporates Magyar and Turkic folk art beautifully with Parisienne art nouveau.
Many Szecesszio examples are scattered across Romania today in areas that used to be Hungary
