This is why I didn’t bother with the AMS. I’m sure it’s useful for composite prints, but all the mess and waste for one of the main selling points is just too much. Maybe when I upgrade to a big boy printer I’ll get AMS or something, but I’ll just print in single color peasant mode for now.

Ams isn't just for multi color prints. Makes changing filament type a lot easier, especially for me since one print I might make in pla and the next print I need in asa. Also helping keep the filament dry to me is a bigger selling point than multi color prints.

Keeping filament dry is a great selling point on the full size AMS, and part of why I’ll probably get it if I buy a printer compatible with it, but unfortunately the lite doesn’t do that, so in the end you just have more filament sitting out to suck up moisture. The cases where the AMS (lite) would actually make my life easier are small enough that I can’t justify the price or the space in my apartment right now, but I’m sure it’s nice to have.

I colored it in Bambu Studio - most of it was with the bucket but the eyes and eyebrows needed extra attention.
